4  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Screen Printing: Completed Projects / Positive Thinking Tee on: April 18, 2012 11:48:13 AM

Here is a tee I screen printed with my YUDU using white ink. I found the white ink to be very thick, so I went over with the squeegee 3 times before lifting the screen. Luckily all 12 I made turned out exactly as I had hoped! The graphic is just something I made up in photo shop, to encourage positive thinking. Smiley

8  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Betsey Johnson-esque Marie Antoinette Halloween Costume (pic heavy) on: September 25, 2008 10:53:30 AM
I used Simplicity Pattern #0516 to make this costume! It is made of clearance fabrics!! Yay! Currently I am working on a king Louis XVI costume for my boyfriend...so I will show you that when I am done!

The rough draft /planning stage...

I liked the idea of these ready-made costumes I saw on ebay

I watched this movie for inspiration

Here is the progress of making it (sorry it is so small..this was from my blog)

And here is the finished dress!

As for accessories ...

got this at Halloween USA

got these thigh highs to go with it! Love the little bows up the back seam!

petticoat (from ebay)

bought this a long time ago at an antique shop

and I plan to wear my Irregular Choice shoes!

*edited to add more pictures* Smiley  PS Thank you everyone for the nice comments!

9  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / Rojas Napoleon Hoodie dress/ Patricia Field Store...I made it! on: July 08, 2007 01:56:39 PM
I had been admiring this hoodie dress which is sold through intermixonline.com and patriciafield.com for almost $200. It turned out to be pretty easy to make! I just altered a hoodie pattern I had to make it longer, changed the sleeves to short, puff sleeves, and I free hand drew the front panal which is adorned with gold anchor buttons.

Edited to say: Thank you!! You are all so sweet!!!!
