I second the YAY for dolly crafting! I am so happy with my first couple of pieces for loves2experiment's parcel, but now I'm tearing my hair out on what to go with them.. I'm excited for the challenge of creating new and exciting things, but nervous all at the same time!!

Oh swapping, how I love thee.  Grin

Can't wait to see everyones goodies!!

Yeeps! Everything is so very beautiful.. but you can't top mine!!

I had to leave the state rather unexpectedly after I got my fantastic package from Hellga, so I don't have action shots.. yet! But I will! For now I will just have to tempt you with my hasty description of why I am such a lucky swapper..

I asked for a new purse to help replace the one I dropped a bottle of chocolate milk into (oops?) and I was sent Hellga! The purse that Hellga sewed just for me is to-the-t perfect! She's got mad sewing skills, ya'll.. especially considering I haggled her into a bag style she's never attempted before. Needless to say it puckers like a sassy sophisticate like me needs her bag to pucker! And the colors are just so me. I love it.

AND on TOP of the wicked purse.. (are you sitting down now?) she sewed up just about the coolest wallet I have ever seen. I've never had a fabric wallet before, and I am just tickled pink. I thought the bag was well done.. the wallet is phenomenal! As soon as I get back home all of my wallets contents will be switched to this one. Too Cool!

Hellga, you said you took some pictures before you sent off to me? Could you please share with the group until I can get some proper action shots to show off your work? I would really appreciate it!

When I'm back home I also promise to share the pattern link for the lapghan I knitted for the swap. It was a free pattern from Lion Brand, the Comfy Cables blanket maybe? I'll find it! It was super quick with bulky yarn and big needles.. maybe took me about 6-7 hours of straight knitting spaced over about a month. I don't really remember, I just worked on it when I was sitting on the couch. Thank you all for your wonderful comments.. It was a really fun pattern to knit.

Anyhoo, I don't have much time left on my laptop so I will post again when back in town. It was really awesome swapping with you all!

I received an awesome knitted blanket from nevergirl.  It is purple and so very very soft!  I love it!

YAY! Cheesy I'm so glad you love it. It was a really great pattern and I had a lot of fun knitting it up for you. I took some pictures before I packaged everything off, so I'll share mine!

May it always keep those toes of yours warm & cosy! Smiley

have a look here. This will give you an idea.

ZOMG! Shocked I inherited a broomstick needle from my grandmother when she passed away.. all this time I've thought it was the remaining brother to a pair of really HUGE knitting needles.

I'm nearly there! Realizing perhaps a little too late how big of a project this is though!  Grin HAHA. I'll definitely be shipping closer to the deadline than I wanted to, but it'll be worth it. I can't wait to send it off!
