1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / OMG - My hubby published a rubber stamping article about me.... on: April 12, 2007 10:38:06 AM
When I went to bed last night I could hear him typing up something with fury.... I got up this morning and he says:

"My article about you is finished"
"Oh yeah - wait - what article?"
"The one about your hobby"
"That was nice of you... what does it, um, say?"
"That I wish I had my dining room table back"

If you'd like to read about his battle with my table space.... here's the article:

I will complete layouts individually or complete albums for people.  If you want more information, just email me: AleshaWalls at gmail dot com and I can give you more information on how I started.

I'm pretty sure that the craft and needlework festival is on the 20/21/22 of April 2007.

I am pretty sure that Michaels sells the Fiskars hand-held punches for around $9 - I believe that they have a star, heart, flower and various circles.  They're small.  But they work really well.

I cross-stitch, do glass etching.  I am a scrapbooking, rubber stamping and card making teacher.

I have no idea how to knit/crochet etc.

I have sewn before but am no expert about it; I make my own Christmas Bags (drawstring, so I just re-use them each year instead of wrapping presents)

Hi Laura,

Just let me know when and where.  I'm always up for meeting new crafty people.

Is the name Lush?  I've bought from there and they do have awesome stuff.

I saw something like this on Splitcoaststampers....

It was basically a scrapbooked coffee table book of Nature photos that the scrapbooker had taken over the years.  It was beautiful.  I think that it's a fabulous idea.  I've been trying to gather photos like that and only have a few that I think are good enough.

This is the link to pictures of her coffee table book incase you'd like to check it out.  http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=288312

I'm a scrapbooking demonstrator and I always use scrapbook/photo friendly doublesided tape.  It is easiest.  I find the glue too messy, and just sometimes dont' like working with the photo corners.

For the heavier stuff, I typically will use crystal effects ( the Stampin' Up version of the Creative Memories stuff) and it works like a charm.  A dab will hold it for years.  I've had a bottle that I've used at demonstrations and for personal use for over a year and haven't even got 1/4 way down it yet.

I sew as well as I cook, and if you saw how slim my hubby is....

But I'd love to get together and scrapbook if anyone is interested.
