1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Toadette on: November 15, 2012 09:54:09 PM
Haha, love it!  Could you tell us a little bit about it?

Yes!  The dress/leggings/boots were bought.  The vest is a red t-shirt with some bias tape, super simple.  The main star here is that hat!  It took forever, since it was never going to fit into my sewing machine.  But pretty much it's just a very large amount of pink fabric that I layed out and stuffed with pillow fluff until I got the shape right and sewed it onto a simple hat-shaped piece of the same fabric.  It's not very smooth on the bottom since I just tucked it until it sat semi-flat because I was in a bit of a rush, but I guess it kinda helps make it look like the underside of a mushroom haha.  Then I used some craft foam balls and just tied ribbon around them and sewed that to the underside.  Then the spots were just glued on.  It will need some tweaking before I wear it out again (the glue wasn't the best choice, and the tails need to be sewn on higher) but it was definitely a conversation starter that night!

On the wall by your bed, is that just plain square scrap book paper hung up in a pattern?  It looks fab!

Sure is! Smiley

Those are very cute!!  I sent my daughter to school with a nintendo mushroom shirt, and they called me in to bring her another??  Said it represented drugs, I thought WHAT??  I do not think of drugs when I see a mushroom!  And they call this America??

Thank you! ^^

This is my first post :D  Weeee!
I bought some sculpty for a project in my 3-D design class and had a ton left over, so.. I had to play with it ^^
I guess it's more Mario themed.. The top shroomies and the pacmen (which aren't Mario themed but were still cute ;P) are earrings and the rest went into the bracelet.
The picture is icky cause it's with my camera phone (I left my camera at home during spring break ; ;)

8  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Show off your hair! on: November 01, 2005 05:01:31 PM
weee.. my hair has been many colors.. sorry for such small pictures, there were just so many I couldn't choose ;P
well, my hair is brown, but I had dyed it blonde for a few years.  Then black, but I have no pictures of it ;/  Then purple!  ^^ and then, a different shade of purple.

Then blue (which was so dark the first few days), another blue, and the same blue again.

Then I had it where it was red on one side, and purple on the other, but after the first week the red was pink.  Although, I did like the shade of pink it was ^^  After that I was green for the longest while.

And now my hair is Atomic Pink on the top layer and black underneath!  The last picture is of me yesterday after a halloween party ;P

webcams make me look dead o_O
