Hi cutek94.

Wow this is an old tutorial, I haven't posted anything for the longest time. Erm, let's see if I can remember what I was talking about...to join the round slip stitch into the first stitch, chain 1 then sc into the same stitch. Hope that helps some Smiley

6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: 'La Linea' - the line on: October 26, 2006 09:15:02 PM
They used to show that in Australia too, it was one of the best short format cartoos IMO. I'm going to do a stencil of La Linea for a friend so thought I'd see if anyone else on here had had the same idea.

The bag is great & the colour works really well, very remniscent of the show. I almost expect it to mutter in italian.

I actually said "Awww" when I saw him. I love his face & the satchel-bag is the perfect addition.

No worries. I guess he won't be coming to Australia either, doh. All the guys on the menwhoknit site are also really friendly & helpful.

Congrats for getting another guy into the knitting fold. There's a new book out called "Knitting with Balls - The First Contemporary Guide To Knitting For The Modern Male" by Michael Vecchio. I don't know if it has much on technique though. The author also has a knitting blog at: http://trickytricot.typepad.com/
