1  Tooth Keepers in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by fairyprinzezzin on: October 24, 2004 03:05:48 PM
I made these Tooth Keepers for kids to keep their lost teeth in until the tooth fairy comes.  They are made of felt, with faces painted with fabric paint, and blue stitching holding them together.  The opening at the top is large enough to put a quarter from the tooth fairy into.

I tried to sell them on eBay for $1.50 with .37 shipping, but I had no buyers.  I guess I will save them, they are so cute!

2  Postage Stamp Tea Tin in Completed Projects by fairyprinzezzin on: September 21, 2004 06:29:47 PM
I had a huge stamp collection (none which were worth anything) and was getting bored with just looking at it.  I decided to put it to good use and created this tea tin with it!  I bought a plain tin bucket at Michaels for about $5, and also some Mod Podge and a brush.  Then I went to work putting the stamps all over the tin.  I use it for storing tea bags.  Hope you like it!

3  Homemade Domokun Plush in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by fairyprinzezzin on: March 10, 2004 09:06:42 PM
If you are like me, you would not dish out around $20 for a Domokun doll on eBay or an internet site.  I really wanted to get my boyfriend a Domokun plush, but was outraged by the prices.  Domokun is relatively simple in shape, so I decided to make one!  I made my own pattern first, and then follwed it exactly.  I want to dig it out so i can share it with all of you, that may be in a later post though.

Here is the pic:

His body is just a furry brown material I found at the craft store, it seemed to resemble his "texture" the best.  His mouth is felt, and his eyes are just regular craft store eyes.   I think how I sewed Domo-kun together is pretty self explanitory.
When I finished my bf was overjoyed, and proceeded to sleep with him every night.  The Domokun you see in the picture is well loved, he used to be more rectangular and proportioned when he was brand new.  Ben likes to wave him around by his now longer arm, thats why it is the way it is.
If any one wants a copy of the pattern I would be happy to send one to you, for free of course!  I just have to find it first, I think it is in a envelope in my desk.
I hope you liked my Domokun!
