1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / 50 cardboard pen boxes on: September 29, 2011 01:19:12 PM
Hi All!

I have 50 empty cardboard pen boxes that are a really nice heathered grey shade. They pretty much look like the picture, but without the pen and the strope across the top.

Any ideas?

I was thinking cute pencil holders (but people don't really use them anymore, do they?) or maybe tampon holders?

Thanks!!
Ashley

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Fitting a down jacket - possible? on: December 14, 2005 10:57:12 AM
Hi all,

I'm relatively new here and I didn't see the answer to this anywhere so I thought I would ask.

I have a calf-length down jacket that is a little too big for me around the torso (length is fine).  I am a ultra-novice sewer so I wasn't even going to attempt it,  but is it possible to tailor a down jacket to make it more fitted?

Any and all opinions, beads of wisdom are appreciated.  Thanks!
