Very cute!

Did you put the blue gemstone in the cloud before or after you baked the clay?

Shocked My boyfriend would die to have this!  Did you make up the pattern or find it somewhere?

Love it!  I've been meaning to hang up some coat hooks in my bedroom.  Now I think I'm going to have to do something like this instead of just putting the hooks right on the wall.

Also, I LOVE the images you used.

Thanks for posting the pictures Bluelise!  My camera hasn't been being nice to me the past few days so I haven't been able to post the pictures.  I am still in love with everything you sent!

Thanks again!

I would say if you were using non-cholorine bleach (I think Bio-Clean, Seventh Generation, and E-Cover all make one) that bleaching them wouldn't be a bad plan.  Although, the whole boiling, dryering thing seems like it would be just as effective.

17  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: You know you're a craftster when... on: February 12, 2006 02:35:38 PM

Ewww! I'm just thinking of pulling 3 feet of thread from the cat's mouth...ick! I can't sew around my cat because he tried to eat the pins from the pin cushion. I have to wait until he's asleep!

Oh my gods!   I thought my cat was the only one who tried to eat pins!  The other one tries to eat thread, but for some reason that makes sense to me.  I can't get by this pin eating thing though.  Its just too weird.

I know exactly what you're talking about - you're not crazy.

But.... I have no idea what you are talking about.

Goodluck ^_^

A little big about me: I'm twenty-four and I live right out side Washington DC.  I work in a small health food coop and hope to have my own health food store some day.  I'm into a lot of role playing and video gaming.  I love to read - especially science fiction or fantasy.  I'm also really into music and have played the flute for most of my life.  I love to crochet, sew, make jewelery, cook, paint, decopage, cut, glue, draw and have just started making lace!  I am also part of the Society for Creative Anachronism, which is kind of like the Ren Faire, but more for our own amusment then for profit or show.

I can't wait to pick people from this swap too!

This pin cushion isn't actually my own idea... I got it from this thread: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=50015.0

and thought they were so adorable that I had to make them - I made one for me and one for Kasie.

I'm so glad you liked it Kasie!
