51  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knitting Accessories: Needle roll on: July 01, 2007 08:29:47 AM
I know this isn't a knitted project, but I really felt it fit on this board the best.  I really like being organized, so I made this case to hold my knitting needles, crochet hooks and stitch markers.

I used a hand towel, a washcloth, and some twill tape.  I was a quick project and I finished it in an evening.  Now my supplies have a home and are ready to travel at a moments notice.

The only thing I should have done different is mark out the lines for the needles, I just eyeballed them and they got a little wonky.
Thanks for looking, comments appreciated.
52  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / polka dot baby basket on: June 25, 2007 10:37:45 AM
I ordered a moses basket on-line and it came with a ho-hum liner, so I decided to make a new one.  I had no idea what I was doing so I just kind of pin fitted it on the basket.  I quilted the inside, but it got kind of uneven because I didn't mark it out.  It isn't that noticeable and I think it turned out okay.

I had such a good time that I decided to make a matching quilt.  Once again I had no idea what I was doing, but it turned out okay...and anyway it was made with love.

We used it every day until baby Pandora got to big for it.

Thanks for looking, comments welcome and encouraged.
53  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / tarot card box set on: June 19, 2007 10:25:11 AM
My husband used to work in a restaurant where the got fish in boxes like this

he brought me several before he quit and I have been hoarding them, until now.
I like to read tarot cards and I needed something to keep all my stuff in, so I decoupaged this box, put my favorite card on the front of my store bought journal,

and made magnets to hold cards on the inside lid and stickers for the inside of the journal because I color code my entries.

Thanks for looking any, feedback would be appreciated.
54  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / smock top(edit: back view on page 2) on: June 17, 2007 01:45:24 PM

55  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / deco-podged halloween tin on: October 08, 2006 12:30:35 PM
I've been working on this to give to my friend Sharon for halloween.  Every year we go out and I wanted to give her a gift to remember this year.  It is about 9" x 11" and I painted it and then deco-podged it.  I am going to fill it with halloween candy and little goodies like spider rings and vampire teeth.  I was just wondering what everyone thought.

Any input would be appreciated
56  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / glam sha sha dream bag on: September 12, 2006 01:50:44 PM

I took inspiration from the sha-sha dream bag tute and added some sequins and stuff and then slapped some vinyl on top.  I was thinking of selling these and would love to get some fellow crafters opinions.
I can put almost anything flat in these things and I am going to use some scrapbook supplies next.

I haven't put the lining in this one yet, but I couldn't wait to see what everyone else thought.
57  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Little glass jars on: March 03, 2006 08:51:12 PM
I worked room service at a hotel and I save a bunch of the little glass jars that mustard and mayo came in.  They are glass with metal lids and about 2 inches tall.  What could I use them for I have about 100 of them.  I also saved the miniature soda bottles, they are 8 ounces with plastic tops.  The only thing I can think to do with them is sample sized bath products like bath salt and oils.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, I've had them for 2 years and they're just taking up space.
58  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Guest book ideas on: October 22, 2005 04:05:33 PM
My fiance and I are getting married on Halloween and we are having a costume party reception.  I don't want a traditional guest book, but I don't know what to do.  I don't want it to be to halloweenie cheesy, but I want it to go with the theme, anyone have any ideas?
