I believe Crab Rangoon is also a st. louis specialty. And perhaps St. Louis style pizza with provel cheese!
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Ravelry! Extra invites... on: May 24, 2007 07:02:49 PM
I'm a little far down this list as well, but if anyone has an extra invite to throw this way, I'd love one! lyarnell (at) gmail.com

just a note, you may not want to have your money sitting right on the chart so open like that. I don't know if you have siblings, but it looks inviting seeing a twenty sticking out. Also, you may bump into it and then accidently throw it away, the possibilities are endless. You can get a cheap bank or just an old pretzel jug, box, etc. Decorate it and make it dog-tastic!

The pink part looks like an elephant, or really an incus bone (one of the bones of the middle ear.)

just kinda tilt your head a little!

it definatly seems faster to me! Usually the search feature takes forever, but I tested it by searching for something random and it did it in seconds!

Okay. so this weekend was my school's holiday ball/banquit and it marks the end of classes and it's just a general celebration of life. Therefore, I was slightly intoxicated with my friends, making fun of this frightening yarn that someone bought my friend as part of a project. We vetoed the yarn and used a different one, but we had this skein my friend had already opened. The topic of mittens came up and, as none of us had tried to make them before, I decide to give it a shot.

I present to you the scary results of crocheting something you've never made before, with no pattern or anything, intoxicated:

One may say, looking at that, that's not quite so bad. but WAIT! it gets worse

a close up of the worst offense

HUGE thumb!
haha, so yes. let this be a lesson to you all.
