Give her a copy of 101 Dalmatians.

Stick a post-it on it saying "I know you like dogs, so here's over a hundred of them for your veiwing pleasure". Throw in a sickeningly sweet smile, give her a hug to show that there's no hard feelings, and you're set~!
7  New York / New York: NYC and Long Island / Re: NY stranger looking for Thrift Stores&Yarn Stores in NYC/Queens on: December 21, 2005 08:15:49 PM
Beacon's Closet is the most awesome thrift store ever.
If you google search them, you'll get their exact information.

Take the L one stop in from Manhattan and walk a few blocks. Bring clothing you don't want anymore, and you'll be able to trade it in for store credit.

I love this place.

there's a thrift store called Beacon's Closet.

I know that to get to one of their locations, you can take the L one stop in from Manhattan, and walk a couple of blocks down. Run a google search on them. They're awesome.

I think you can just take the 46 straight down, because it's on Union Turnpike.
10  New York / New York: NYC and Long Island / Re: NYC transit strike downtime? on: December 21, 2005 07:57:12 PM

I can't get to school, so I walked over to Fabric Bonanza, bought a pair of size five knitting needles and a bit of sparkly mint green yarn, so I can make an iPod cozy for the new 60 GB Video iPod my friends (20 of them~!) got me for my birthday. I have an Invisible Sheild (it's AMAZING for preventing scratches. You can even key it with no damage done. The material itself heals over time. Get one. It's worth it.) on it to protect it from scratches already, but the case will just be for asthetic and cushioning purposes.

Ain't no power like the power of people,
'cause the power of people don't stop.
I hope the transit strike proves effective. I would hate for the transit workers to get screwed over like the teachers were.
