Thanks eveyone!

Man, I am struggling with this one... I'm using 2.5mm needles to knit the whole thing up, because of the Paton's brilliant, my gauge is waaaaaay small... and its taking forever! Waaah!!!

I'm seriously tempted to put this on hiatus, or try it with a thicker yarn, and since I am stash busting, that may mean wool... or acrylic, and much warmer than originally imagined my tube top to be.

I mean, its not for winter!

Sigh.

We'll just have to see I guess. I wish I could afford some new yarn. I have to be good right now... and its hard!  Tongue

This second one is made from black acrylic yarn, worsted weight.  I added long ties to make a sort of wrap mini cardi.  The ties are just done in 1x1 ribbing, picked up from the bottom of each side.

How many stitches did you pick up and from where??? I am going to have to copy you on this! Great job Iridescent!!!

I can't seem to get Craftster on my computer at the moment (I'm in the library). I think my PC is taking over and rationing my Craftster consumption (wouldn't blame it).

Mysteriously, the same thing has happened to this knitter in the past.... and drew the same conclusion... eerie... Shocked

Yes I'm making another one!!! This time in Cascade 220 and Cascade Quattro, colors 9420 and 9434 respectively.
Are you doubling up the yarn too?  Or have you adjusted the pattern for worsted weight yarn?

Thanks Rhonda! I love your show btw! I adjusted the pattern for worsted weight. Do you have any pictures of your capelet so far?

Yes I'm making another one!!! This time in Cascade 220 and Cascade Quattro, colors 9420 and 9434 respectively.

The 220 is the ribbing on the neck, sleeves and bottom of the capelet, and the Quattro is main body:

Its looks so good in RL. I am going to try to get better pics. Think teal/ turquoise... I am not sure if that is showing up on the screen well.

I also want to make a brooch out of a broken necklace I have that I think will look really good... stay tuned!
