I went crazy... I love this store!

I spent like 55 dollars... but it was worth it. There are a couple of things my hubby bought for himself that I didn't take photos of.

Sorry about how photo heavy this is, but lookit! They have yarn... 100% wool chunky weight (3.5-4sts to 1") yarn!

Anyhoot, I will be going back, that is for sure!

Hi Gals, here is mine:

And w/o me in it:

I second the wish lizbot had about making it in wool and blocking it... I also used Bernat Softee Chunky, but in Black. I also made it a bit longer, and love it this way. Let me know whatcha think!

Just thought I would let you guys see how far along I am!

I decided to make this a bit longer than a capelet, because I realized while knitting this that if I made it a capelet, I would never wear it! So it will be normal length... maybe a touch short.

Anyways, here are some pics!

Sorry my flash is strong, and it makes the yarn greyish...

close up shot:

I did a bit of increasing on the front bits so they close in the front. I also have to say, this is a really easy pattern once you figure out the gauge. I am glad I restarted it. (only on Tuesday! This is a fast project..) I felt so mad after my first one came out so big and bulky... it looked awful. Got the gauge wrong, and made it too big, of course.

I will post more pics when there is more progress! Thanks 4 looking!

86  Re: Circular Shrug- created by keridana, julsey723, guessica, and others... in Knitalongs by loisgriffinwannabe on: November 12, 2005 01:07:23 AM
Hi all, I steeked it, and it came out awesome! here is a pic:

I have the other half, also steeked, does anyone want it? You can seam it up, and it would be a perfect shrug. Note that it is a bit big, probably be good for someone in my size range. (size 16)Let me know!
