Wow, that's awesome. I especially like the eyes and nose. The fact that it glows in the dark is like adding a cherry on top!

That fabric is beautiful.  I think it is a good match for that pattern.  Even though it's a formal dress, I would totally wear that to a swing dance.

That's so funny! I think that is where I picked up the black napkin.

So here's my dilemma. I need more storage without saraficing floor space & without putting a million holes in the walls. So, ya know those things that hang in your closet that kind of have shelves? (If you're totally confused, click here>> http://www.lillianvernon.com/catalog/product_display.jsp?pdId=8312 for an example.) I plan to hang one of those from the ceiling. And I'll probably get something with pocket things to hang on against the wall but again, from the ceiling to avoid holes in the wall. I need to pick up some stronger hooks first, though. We'll see how that works out.

I can't find the episode but I saw a cool demo on "The Christpher Lowell Show"  He took for of those and attached them at the top to a circular piece of wood.  Then he put a lazy susan turning thing on that piece of wood and put another one on top so that they turn like a .. well like a lazy susan.  Then he attached it to the ceiling.  I don't think it quite reached the floor.

It's awesome.  My mind is whirling w/ ideas.  I'm a bit too much of a scary d cat to leave it up.  As a matter of fact I won't even go into the cellar in my basement w/o every hair on my body standing on end. I'm sure I would sleepily enter my bathroom one night and get freaked out. anywhooo    But for Halloween it would be great for a party decoration.

Grin  I love it.  I share the same woes and Mr. xsattentionspan is quite peeved that my crafts seem to pile up in the living room and on the dining room table.  My excuse?  My craft room doesn't have heat in the winter (I live in Wis.)  and now that we are having a heat wave it's miserable in there without air conditioning.  We rent so I'm not sinking more money into another air conditioner.
I know I need to find a way to store my supplies in a way that I can see what I have.  If I can't see it, it's not there and I will buy more. Also, I tend to drag everything out when I am brainstorming.  Sometimes i just like taking all of my fabric scraps out and looking at them and thinking of what I might do w/ them.  I'm just not so great at putting it all away again.  ughh, I still haven't learned to put my toys away!

Pics to come.....

No, I don't back them with anything but, I also don't use them as dinner napkins once I embroider them.   ;)I'm more the paper towel type.  Thus far I haven't needed to back them.
