i added the bottom part, elasticated the sleeves and added some ribbons...

7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / DCB bag on: February 27, 2006 08:16:33 PM
my sister works for dylan's candy bar and she needed a bag to carry all of her work stuff (she's the event coordinator) but she didn't want the generic totes they sold at the store so i made her this...

she picked out this black/orange denim type material.  i'm not really sure what she saw in it, but it turned out pretty nicely.  i took an old dylan's shirt i had and sew the logo onto it.  i also took some ribbon and mocked the "dylans stripes" that are all over the store and whatnot.

for the inside i just turned the fabric backwards so it was orange/black and added a small pocket for id/money/etc.

also, my mom gave me this upolstery fabic that i love, but i'm not sure what sort of bag it wants to be.  any ideas?

let me know what you guys think...

8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / pink/black jacket of greatness on: February 27, 2006 05:24:17 PM

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / some resizes and some recons...(img heavy) on: October 12, 2005 11:20:46 PM
guys medium shirt i got from target.

resized to make it fit better

shirt i got from my school for being a peer tutor.  the only size they came in was adult med-lg

just practicing my resizing skills

old sweater that i resized and made more better for me when i'm at work.  i'm always cold at work, but i can't stand having sleeves when i'm using a mouse (they get in the way).  so i made this short sleeved for more comfort. i also added the pouch to hide my snacks from my boss (she'll want to steal them and eat them herself, greedy sugar monger).

my bernstein bears shirt that doesn't fit anymore (damn boobies) so i made it cool weather friendly.

side panel

all american reject shirt that i was just trying new stuff on.  i know that i used white thread so you can see all the seams, its the only color i have besides black (right now)
thanks for any constructive critisism...
