I'd be interested too!  Smiley
2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: any whittlers or woodcarvers here? i am in dire need of help on: May 02, 2011 08:02:40 AM
I'm going to second this ^.  I'm trying to get started doing some carving/whittling, just some small stuff, and I'd love a rec on a good knife.
3  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Reading Swap on: January 28, 2011 08:05:29 AM
This sounds great, and I'm right with you on the timing.  I was just looking through the bookmark swap galleries, and eyeing a knitted book cover pattern!  I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this thread.  Wink Books are love! <3

Sounds awesome!  I've got that apron pattern squirreled away that I've been burning to make, I love all the inspiration pics!  We're moving into our first house in february so the timing you mentioned is great for me, and it'll be my first chance to have my own garden so this is just totally perfect.  I'm psyched!  Cheesy

Could you share the link to the tutorial you used?  These look great, and I have some lovely papers I've been saving that would be perfect for this.
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Making this awkward fitted tank top bigger? (IMG heavy) on: August 17, 2010 11:43:01 AM
I love A, but I think B's your best bet for getting what you want and having the best finish.  Great illustrations btw!
7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Eclipse Quotes Tote Bag on: June 29, 2010 07:23:59 PM
Hmm, I concur about the handwriting in comments, mine's not that pretty... Hmm. Anyway- What did you use to write on the bag?  I like how thin the lines came out.  Everything I've brainstormed would be more thick and uneven.

What a fantastic idea!  I love the design, but figured at first glance it was fabric with writing on it already.  But your favorite book quotes!  With hearts between!  Bloody brilliant!!!  (Bit of a bibliophile over here <-  Tongue )
9  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Our Quasi-Crafty Halloween Wedding (Image Gigantor) on: January 25, 2010 10:50:38 AM
omg do I love your wedding and all the pictures!  Thank you for sharing!  I've always wanted a fall wedding, and now I want a Halloween wedding!   The bouqets are spectacular, best paper roses I think I've ever seen.  And the bottles at the bar are brilliant and so perfect.  The first and last picture are just gorgous.  Looks like you had a great time, and I'm so glad. :  )

OMG, I love the button dress!  I love it even more because it's for you and not a small child.  That last pic is so rediculously cute, your expression combined with the adorable wittle dress is freaking priceless!
