1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Urban Outfitters-esque Beret! on: August 05, 2008 06:35:29 PM
Following the trend of slouchy hats/ large berets, I decided to crochet one for my friend for her birthday instead of buying the ones at Urban for $30+! I went out and bought yarn (1 skein was only $2!) and a needle yesterday and taught myself how to crochet from the lovely videos and advice given on this forum :] I basically followed a video of a lady crocheting a rasta cap (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-R7athkDDs) only I subtracted some rounds and the popcorn stitch and kind of winged it when I got to the band of the beret. Overall this was a great first project :]

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Gold/Black/Houndstooth Prom Dress (very belated post) on: July 25, 2008 05:14:28 PM
I originally made this dress for my college portfolio and then I really liked it so I decided to wear it to prom! I had to take it apart and remake it since the original dress was probably a size 0. So here it is!

Edited to add actual prom pictures :]

4  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / BLAM! on: August 06, 2006 11:38:38 PM
This pair was based off of "Blam!" by Roy Lichtenstein.

There was a lot of detail on this pair and it was a pain in the butt to do. There were some tinnnny shapes and thin lines that were a little bit hard to do, but it turned out pretty well If I say so myself. :]]

Feedback is great as always!
5  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / MRAZ KICKS! on: July 19, 2006 02:54:50 PM
This pair was done for a Jason Mraz contest. The contest was to design a Jason Mraz shoe.

The music on the side of the shoes is the beginning piano part of Mr. Curiosity, one of his songs. Hope you like!
6  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / POP SHOES on: May 29, 2006 09:44:16 PM
Roy Lichtenstein: Kiss V

Andy Warhol: Campbell's Soup Can (Tomato)

Feedback would be nice!
