41  potter puppets! in Stenciling: Completed Projects by hgflower on: October 13, 2005 04:02:33 PM
this is a work in progress, but this will be as far as it goes for today at least  Wink

in case anyone out there doesn't know what potter puppet pals are, check out this website! www.potterpuppetpals.com

i got this mini comic from the website, and since they've stopped making shirts period, i've taken it upon myself to make my own!

my next steps for this shirt is to make the little word bubbles (quotes: snape - i'm huge and ugly and nobody likes me. ; dumbledore - ooh! it's hagrid!!)
then i'm going to cut out the sad hagrid and put him on the back of the shirt Smiley

any other suggestions?

42  this is what insomnia creates in Stenciling: Completed Projects by hgflower on: October 13, 2005 12:08:51 AM
i borrowed this idea from craftgrrl (unfortunately i can't remember the gal's user name, but i *did* get her permission to use it)

since i'm still new at stenciling, i couldn't deal with cutting out the letters so i had to free hand it. in case you can't read the text, it say "the t.v. made me do it" methinks i should invest in a fabric pen for my next project...

43  an oldie but a goodie in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by hgflower on: October 10, 2005 09:01:36 PM
hello all Smiley i just joined craftster today and i'm so impressed by the body of work everyone has done so far! just wanted to add this mini messenger bag that i did a couple months back.
i used my old dickies bag as a reference and pretty much winged it from there. took me about 6 hrs (watching my old "friends" dvd to pass the time) and i was impressed with myself. i originally bought the fabric to make pj pants with, but stupid me, i didn't buy enough  Undecided
anyways, enough with the fanfare.. here are the pictures!
front view:
inside view: (with inside pockets for my wallet/ipod)
the side pocket for my cell phone
and the extra fabric that i made into an extra pouch for girly essentials and what not  Grin

44  this is my first time... in Stenciling: Completed Projects by hgflower on: October 10, 2005 08:48:48 PM
so be kind!  i'm new here, and i just felt like wasting time on doing a stencil instead of doing homework today  Wink
this is the first time my stencil actually came out pretty decently, sorry for the crappy picture though.. i had to use the scanner cause i couldn't find the cord for my camera; ghetto i know, but it gets the job done!
