1  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / Cowgirl boots? Any suggestions how to revamp something into a pair? on: February 18, 2007 11:33:08 PM
I want to do a kind of a custom job, you know. I don't even know where to start to take an old pair of shoes and turn them into something that looks like cowgirl boots. Does anyone have any helpfull ideas?
Like, I have a while to make them, It's for a costume, but I won't need them for a few months.

so i just got done watching the movie, and i think a dawn of the dead/zombie swap.

what does everyone else think? i think it would be neat. all sorts of zombie type items that could be crafted. let me know what everyone thinks. if there is enough response, there will be one later this summer.

Also, a tutorial for different decorative lace and trims would be cool...if there are tutorials for those.

So, I had all this material just sitting in boxes, the need for a new wardrobe, and LOTs of spare time. I've started making a new wardobe...some of it is for a new character I am playing.

This is the sleeve of the shirt. It has three parts to it...

This is a shirt I made for a friend to wear.I made this shirt from a pattern that I designed.
 I plan on selling this shirt online sometime in the future.

I wanted to make a stuffed animal. But I not a fan of cute things. I like monsters and squids and things like that. Anyway, if anyone has a pattern they would be willing to share, I would be very greatfull.

I made this coat last winter. The buttons fell off it a few months ago, so I'll be doing a few changes..but what does everyone think of it?

It's the third project I've made, I'll be posting the first two as soon as I can find my digital camera.
