2  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Ferragamo Knit Bag-along? on: March 02, 2006 07:13:24 PM
Here's another pix of it from http://www.salvatoreferragamo.it/web/index.html

It says on their website:
Hand crocheted cotton tote, Sand colour with natural wicker frame closure.

It certainly is pretty!

Hello Fleurs, i think the one you're looking for is the green Sarah tank top.  The pattern is on the first page.  it's actually under her post right here https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=30311.msg253798#msg253798

Thanks morgaroo, but i was looking for the yellow capelet pattern, not the blue one.  Embarrassed

I adore your yellow capelet!  I went on your blog to check out the pattern but didn't see that one there.  Could anyone possibly direct me to it?
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Do you dream about knitting? on: January 02, 2006 06:17:38 PM
hah!!!  Grin When i began knitting, i used to have nightmares about my stitches falling off of the needle.. phew.. that was before i discovered the use of "lifelines"
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: joanne fabrics, cheap plastic needles on: December 26, 2005 06:55:52 PM
awww, i just went today to look for the glitter needles, but they were not marked down from $9.99.  also, i saw the discounted knitting needles for $1.99, but couldn't find the one size i was looking for in a US 9.  That must be the most popular needle size b/c my joanne fabrics had only the $4+ ones available in bamboo and the Lion Brand ones.   Undecided
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: liesel, branching out, or dayflower? on: December 25, 2005 08:33:58 PM
well, between dayflower and branching out i'd most definitely say branching out is the easiest and quite rewarding.  i haven't tried liesel out yet, but from looking at the pattern i'd still say branching out is easiest and such a quick knit.
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Dayflower Lace Scarf (with link to free pattern) on: December 17, 2005 08:05:23 PM
VSuangel86, i used 3 skeins of Patons Brilliant which comes to (166 yards per skein x 3) 498 yards.  There was about 10 1/2 yards left over after doing 23 pattern repeats.

Here's a pix of 1 finished skein of Patons Brilliant Green Glitter.  I'm using this one to try out different blocking methods before i do it on the finished one.  Can you see the difference it makes on the left side?

I can't wait to see more of these scarves~  Oh how i'm loving lace...
