ok so here it is - the stitchnbitch milwaukee is happening once again!!  it's the second wednesday of every month starting in January of 2005. Everyone will meet at fuel cafe from 7 to 9 pm. fuel cafe is located in riverwest at 818 E. center St. If you need info you can e-mail me at redlipsredboots@yahoo.com, but please don't call fuel cafe- they politely ask all stitchnbitchers to contact me directly .I will be selling starter knitting and crocheting kits, so tell all your interested friends that they can get cheap kits and a free lesson with purchase!!! all crafts, people and stitches and bitches are welcome!!

ps- look out for flyers around town!

hey- faythe/flyingfish has a booth there and some rad diy fashion designer girls also have a booth there- they are called fasten. yeah- i think fall will be better for snb. i dunno if they have blatz or not- it's kinda a hippie cafe so i'm not sure...

you should go to the get down at riverhorse- it's every 2nd sat. of the month. free! and it's heavy dirty nasty booty shakin' extremely rare record funk. the good funk- think james brown and not parliament. this sept. get down is their one-year anniversary so it should be crazy and i will be go-go dancing there too- i think.

8  Wisconsin / Wisconsin: Southeast / Re: Sewing classes from the Fashion Ninja- Milwaukee on: August 15, 2004 12:28:03 PM
hey- i took the basic sewing class from ninja and it was wonderful. it's super cheap considering what you learn from her. i was already a really experienced sewer when i took it and i learned a lot of tips that save me time and she took the time to show me extra things too. i was kinda her "advanced placement" student and i really did learn alot. but anyone can take it- it's aimed at people with little or no experience. the basic sewing class costs $75.00 for four sessions and if you recommend/bring a friend you get a $10.00 gift certificate that you can either use in her shop or put it towards the class fee. she's super supportive and great, oh yeah, her name is areyka and if you call her 414-481-3865 she can fill you in on the rest.

yeah, it's kinda on pause right now- i'm gonna talk to fuel cafe and see what i can do- also bremen cafe has booze and you don't have to be 21 to go there either!! hmm..at bremen cafe?? i'll keep you all updated- also it doesn't neccessarily have to be just knitting or crocheting- just a project that you can work on in a cafe space-limited area with fun other dudes and ladies! yay!
