2  quilted tote for Mother's Day in Quilting: Completed Projects by dee521 on: April 25, 2006 06:42:33 AM
I'm really happy with how this tote turned out for my MIL... i tried a stencil cord border on the top, and it's not perfect (i figured it wouldn't be so i used transparent thread) but whatever, it's probably the best i've done so far  Tongue

3  MIL's quilted tote (w/better pic) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by dee521 on: April 24, 2006 10:34:26 AM
i made this tote for my mil for mother's day and i just can't believe how well it turned out, this is honestly my best sewing so far   Grin so i thanked my machine for being so good to me....
it's a little hard to see the quilting since i used transparent thread, but it's little diamonds with a cord-type border on the top, trust me  Wink

Maybe this shows it slightly better, that thread is really hard to pick up  Sad

4  pinwheel tote bag in Quilting: Completed Projects by dee521 on: February 01, 2006 08:14:29 AM
since the other tote bag wound up a wall hanging i still had to make a tote bag....not that i even needed a tote bag in the first place, but whatever  Wink the sides were a little hairy, but i'm really happy with how this turned out!! sorry about the bad pics! it's hard to tell but i quilted diamonds into the black border that (conveniently) matched up with the squares in the block

5  bear's paw wall hanging in Quilting: Completed Projects by dee521 on: February 01, 2006 08:10:34 AM
this originally was going to be a tote bag but i loved it so much in the end i wanted to hang it on my wall to gaze lovingly at. seriously.  Cheesy i also love the swirly fabric! i'm fairly new to quilting and i'm estatic that the squares actually matched up in the end! comments/criticisms?
