1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / online stores for katia on: June 08, 2005 09:35:25 PM
I just got the new Katia pattern book (no. 48) and am dying to make some of the patterns, ok, most of them, but I can't find all the yarns being called for and would love to work with some of them. Anyone know where I can find katia cotton club or perla online? I've searched for about 5 hours over the past two days before checking here. I'm hoping someone knows where I can get these yarns. PLEASE HELP!!! Aching for new projects!!!

2  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / OT - Knitting tshirts on: March 10, 2005 05:45:43 AM
Sorry, this is kinda OT, but I didn't know where it would go, so here it is. I just got the coolest job in the world and am now working at a LYS. Now just for some really groovy knitting inspired t's to wear to work (and everywhere else, but now I can justify it as a work expense). I found the ones on knitty (awesome btw), but I'm hoping to find some w/o adverts on them. Don't know how the owner would feel about that even though it's a free online mag. I want them to be really hip, maybe one with camo? I don't know, if you can help me out I would really appreciate it!

3  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Sexie from SNBN on: February 17, 2005 05:22:48 AM
I am starting to make the Sexie halter from SNBN and wondering if anyone else out there is knitting this as well. I would love to have peeps join me. I think it will be really great for summer - or for me here in FL almost all year long.

I'm using the yarn called for in Workshirt for MC and Fawn for CC. http://www.berroco.com/shade_cards/glace_sh.html <---- You can see shades here.

4  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Sexie - HELP!!! on: February 12, 2005 12:41:10 PM
I have started the Sexie halter from SNBN and I'm stuck on row 3. I am making the L and I don't know what I have done wrong. On row 3 I got to the very end and was supposed to finish with the last SSK, yo and then K1. When I finished the last SSK, yo I had 2 sts left to knit. I don't know what I did wrong b/c everything else is right, I checked it over a dozen times. I kept counting and recounting. If anyone knows what I did wrong or how to fix it, please help! I really want to be able to enjoy this sexy sexie halter soon!

5  Florida / Florida: Central / Stitch n Bitch - Tampa Bay on: January 28, 2005 11:35:54 AM
A group of knitters in the St. Pete/Clearwater area are starting a stitch n bitch group for our area. We have been talking on meetup.com (st. pete/clearwater knitting meetup group) and would love to open it up to invite knitters from the whole area. There are several options right now for where we will be meeting, but it looks like Saturdays once a month is what we are going to start off with. The place in the lead of our poll right now is the Panera Bread on Ulmerton Road. That is more centered for those in both N and S Pinellas as well as close to Tampa. If you are interested let me know! I would love to meet more knitters in the area and share some new experiences!
