11  Re: Bead Soup Again!! in The Swap Gallery by eirinnkelly on: April 06, 2006 05:13:21 PM
I recieved my beads from winter83. Thank you so much! There's a lot of great stuff, a bag of mixed glass beads, some white beads with roses painted on them, some shells, some pearly beads and lots of plastic faceted beads which are really cool because I never use plastic beads, I always use glass so this will give me the chance to try something totally new. Thanks winter83, I love all the beads!

13  sunflower paintings in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by eirinnkelly on: December 17, 2005 08:04:58 PM
Well, my cousin asked me for artwork for Christmas and I commissioned something from a fellow craftster but that fell through at the last minute. I decided to paint her some sunflowers since they're her favorite flower. The first one I guess I'm satisfied with but I think I'm going to try to fix up the second one a little. Any input would be great. Thanks Grin

Edit to include new pic of 2nd painting after I fixed it a little.

14  Irish Pride! in Crochet: Completed Projects by eirinnkelly on: December 17, 2005 07:59:29 PM
I just finished this blanket for my sister's christmas gift. Our mom's side of the family is Irish and we are all really proud of it so I thought this would be a good gift. It was really easy to make but it took forever because it's pretty big (about 4 feet x 6 feet) and the only thing I'd been able to finish before this was a baby blanket.

15  Malachite, amethyst, garnet and silver necklace, my poor wallet ;) in Beads: Completed Projects by eirinnkelly on: October 31, 2005 11:03:30 PM
I just finished this necklace for my mom for Christmas. It's malachite, amethyst, garnet and sterling silver. It was so expensive! it hurts to think about it  Grin but hopefully my mom will love it. There are earrings to go with it but I need to find my round nose pliers so I can finish them. sorry, I know the pic isn't that great, my camera's a P.O.S., big time.

here's a pic of the pendant up close
