5  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / pyramid head! on: December 03, 2006 09:34:05 AM
I really want a pyramid head stencil (silent hill fyi) does anyone have one? I'll probably end up making one myself but meh
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / hot glue apron!? on: July 20, 2006 09:07:08 AM
so I'm browsing the craftser forums (this section actually) and I'm just falling in love with these adorable retro aprons people are making! So at 1am I decide to make one myself! Using..hot glue (I call it liquid seams)! the reasoning behind this? Um, I'm lazy and I'm too poor to buy a sewing machine Smiley!

the actual construction took about 15 minutes tops, the stenciling took longer :X

tell me what you think Cheesy
7  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / I'm so witty-4 new shirts image heavy on: July 20, 2006 08:58:29 AM
yeah I haven't stenciled any shirts recently but then I decided one day to make a whole bunch O-o so here you go

copy from a shirt on another site that's like $20 . didn't feel like paying that much. Smiley

oh and the shirt it actually bright yellow with not so bright blue letters, weird camera.

saw this shirt on another site as well, mine is slightly different though.

based off of a shirt that I saw at Delia's.

here's a bonus> I stenciled onto an apron I made.  Wink

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / hand painted wooden bead necklace on: June 13, 2006 01:27:29 PM
I saw this >

on the alloy.com website and knew I could make it myself for way cheaper! So a $3 bag of wooden beads + paint and leather cording I already+a whole evening = this!

and I painted 'flower' in kanji on some of them since it was a flower-themed necklace. Smiley

ta-da! The perks of being crafty. A $16 necklace for $4!

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / slash shirts? on: February 28, 2006 05:22:20 PM
I really don't know what these are called..but I want to make one! :/

does anyone know how? I've seen the tutorial for slash -back- shirts on ohmystars..but it doesn't look like what I need ..
10  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / weird shoes! on: February 09, 2006 08:22:39 AM
Yes, so I was in a rush and didn't have time or money to go out and buy new shoes to butcher so I took my pointy black kitten heels (that I kinda liked..-_-;Wink and turned them into...better! XD

There was NO red fabric paint when I went to wal-mart so I settled on gloss acrylic..which worked exactly how I wanted it to! No chance of cranking here and a great shiny finish Cheesy I had to use an acrylic sealer on the little 'flaps' because they were originally just a matte red.

And no I won't be wearing these on an everyday basis XD they're for a costume.

ediiit: excuse photobucket's stupid resizing and my paint splattered 'crafter's mat' ..it's so I won't ruin my desk and thus..every color paint imaginable has ended up on it XD
