1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Singer 7462 - Bobbin Thread on: June 25, 2008 11:06:13 AM
So I got a new Singer 7462 "Touch & Sew" for my birthday and I'm really excited to finally have a sewing machine at college with me. The only problem is when I tried to use it, the sewing machine isn't picking up the bobbin thread. Being an engineer, I opened it up and it looks like the hook that spins around the bobbin (if that makes any sense) isn't picking up the thread from the needle and bringing it around.

Does anyone know a way to fix this, or will I have to take it somewhere to get fixed?

4  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / NES and Pac-Man Stencil: Updated on: September 28, 2005 03:22:02 PM
So my boyfriend's birthday is coming up on Saturday, and I never know what to get the boy, so I decided to be crafty.

Here is the NES Controller stencil I did:

It was my first stencil and I did it with the freezer paper. That worked out so well!

So I finished the Pac-Man shirt I was working on, sadly there was some bleeding, but it was kind of an even amount of bleeding so it looks like it is supposed to be like that (I think). Sorry for the horrid webcam pictures.  Undecided
