1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Bird and blackberry fascinator on: February 10, 2011 07:23:38 PM
Here is a little something I made in hopes of an early spring... I forgot to take pics of the bottom side but I'll try to do that soon  Smiley

The hat base is made from cardboard covered in suede, the bow and loops are black leather, the bird and blackberries are from the floral department of the craft store, underneath (not shown yet) is a comb and a circle of fabric to hide the scrappy bits on the bottom.

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / The Goodwill Spring Wristlet on: April 08, 2009 08:50:33 AM
I had a bunch of pretty red fabric that my sis got me from the goodwill and some bangles and velcro that have been calling my name from my craft boxes for months. Unfortunately, my sewing machine is still buried in storage so I had to break down and do some hand stitching.

3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Painted Mug on: April 08, 2009 08:46:42 AM
I picked up this really plain, boring, white mug at the local dollar store and made it purdy with some PermEnamel in black and nediterranean blue. It's being shipped to my sis as we speak  Cheesy (the pictures are dark and you can't see the great colors very well but you'll get the idea)

4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / christmas cards on: December 08, 2008 04:30:56 AM

5  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Attack of the snazzy blue boutonnière! on: July 07, 2008 01:33:10 PM
Inspired by my friends choice of wedding colors (navy and silver) I made these boutonnières for no particular reason or occasion and now they will collect dust until i make my sis ebay them. Wink I made them out of some quilting cotton that i got in a fat quarter, some floral wire and tape, satin ribbon, hematite beads and small navy blue silk flowers.

6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Wedding Cake Jewelry box **very plump with pics** on: July 07, 2008 01:26:53 PM
I haven't posted in quite a while so I thought I'd pop in and show you guys what I made lately. I'm a bridesmaid for a friend of mine this summer and I'm making the jewelry for the other bridesmaids as well (but we'll save those for a later post when i have some decent pics). Anywho...I made the bride this box, mostly b/c I love weddings and the bridesmaids don't have to wear ugly dresses. Grin
