i wanna give credit where credit's due, but i can't find the post from the person who originality did this.

i decided to go the velcro route, though.

2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / different version of saturday market bag on: August 13, 2006 05:41:04 PM
so happy how this turned out!!
the yarn i used is ridiculously soft and stretchy; it can carry much more than it would appear to be able to handle.
was thinking about lining it; but the fabric would have to be just as stretchy as the yarn....
should i?
thoughts/suggestions/comments welcome

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / 1st summer project- 2 old shirts turned into a tote on: July 16, 2006 04:30:03 PM
was gonna starting crafting earlier this summer, but never got around to it. I think i'm on a roll now...

i was inspired by this post: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=107165.0

but i made a few tweaks:
i made it reversible and changed the addition of straps step.
front          back
other side1    other side2

if pics don't work here, pics can be seen here:

7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / know how to remove iron on lettering? on: January 24, 2006 11:30:40 AM
i found this great bag at the thrift store that a want to turn into my crafts bag, but it got meriil lynch written on the front.
I assume it's iron-on, so does anyone know how i can remove this? Maybe some sort of solvent?....

i could just cover it, but that would require my applique to be much bigger than i wanted.
Help, please!

Got this car magnet for christmas. I don't have a car and it's currently on my fridge.
As a hardcore, die-hard Sox fan, I'd like to turn it into something wearable.
Any ideas?
