1  Re: Mini 13 Days of Halloween Rnd 8 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by halblingefrau on: July 05, 2016 07:56:03 PM
Mine.  My own.  My.... gallery!

Day 1:  COOKIES!  Om Nom Nom.  These were awesome.  I ate too many in one sitting.

Day 2: Wall art!  I seriously love these, and they're living in my office cubicle helping to make me feel more festive.

Day 3: More art.  I am so jealous of woodburning skills.  I mostly just burn my hands.  This is also at my office, and this will stay up year round because this is so me.

Day 4: Socks and Glow In The Dark Nail Polish (what?!)

Day 5: Coffin box with cool skelly guy rising from the grave

Day 6: Coloring book (for slow work days) and sweet wall bats that are so going on my wall for my halloween party

Day 7: Pumpkin sour candy and little ghosties!  I so love the trio of little guys.

Day 8:  Nosferatu.  Nuff said.  He's looming over my cube wall these days, reminding my neighbor what a weirdo I am.

Day 9: Movie night!  She sent me her favorite halloween movie, Trick R Treat, which I've never seen but I'm super stoked to watch.

Day 10: Tentacle shot glass.  I collect shot glasses, and this thing is bada**.  I love how the tentacles go around and over the lip of the glass.

Day 11: Rising full moon dream catcher.  This thing... THIS THING!  IS AWESOME!

Day 12:  Fudge!  Get in my belly.  Dunno if she made it, dunno if she bought it... don't really care.  Awesome.

Day 13: Blingy skull door knocker.  Yep, this is living in my cube year round as well.

Thank you so much chase_acow!  This was an awesome swap package.  My roommate was impressed and jealous.  He'd never heard of craft swaps before.

3  Re: Craft with a Fat Quarter Swap 2 GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by halblingefrau on: August 24, 2013 10:46:26 AM
It took me a little while to get pics up, but here we are!

I got a grocery bag holder that I DESPERATELY needed:

I also got a cute little wallet and some adoreable owl fat quarters:

And I also got two little owl figurines, but I took them to my office before I took a photo.  I'm on vacation for a week (woo birthday!), so I'll take pics when I go back to work and post those later.

Thanks EnginerdLisa!!!

Hooo-leeeee shizzz!  My partner spoiled me so so so much, I can't even say how much I love my package.

Here's the big picture:

The stocking she sent is an adoreable little paw print stocking!  I love it, so cute.  Also, she sent me a TON of goodies!

Included were an owl box full of hershey kisses, owl shaped nail files (seirously didn't know these even existed), a really luxurious bottle of home made hand scrub that smells delicious, a ball of merino wool spun by a local which she HAND DYED for me, a knitting ornament, some hot chocolate, gorgeous earrings, bracelets, and a pendant, some little christmas figurines, two owl ornaments, gorgeous gray nail polish, owl shaped headphones holder, a small jeweled box full of buttons, some stickers, and my absolute favorite thing ever: a purple stuffed octopus!

Seriously love this little guy!

Thank you wdicwg!  You are awesome!

Ok, we received a little while ago but I fail at taking pictures in a timely manner.  So here is all hubby's swap loot!  Seriously, Myrdda is the BOMB at making messenger bags!  I'm so super impressed!  He got an awesome messenger bag, two dice bags, a kick ass chainmaille keychain, 3 refrigerator magnets and two candy bars (which were immediately eaten).  Onward to the ridiculous amount of pictures!

10  Office wall... what to do next? in Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions by halblingefrau on: July 01, 2011 12:29:45 PM
Ok, here is a picture of the focal point in my office.

I'm trying to think of what else to do to the space to make it look nicer.  I was thinking of making a table runner for the credenza.  Maybe put the pics on the wall and just have a few decorative pieces on the credenza surface?  I don't know.  It looks good now but there's just something lacking.

What do y'all think?
