1  Button Bouquets at craft fairs- will they sell? in Get Product and Website Opinions by RockinRobyn on: September 05, 2008 11:36:21 AM
Hey all! I had a blast making button bouquets for my wedding and would love to continue to make them, and sell them so my house doesn't get full of them  Wink The ones I made for my wedding were centerpieces and the guests liked them so much I gave all but one vase away!

Does anyone think that these would sell at craft fairs? I could make them themed/color specific and have some ideas on how to display them (in bridal bouquets with silk flowers, in vases, on presents with gift wrap, etc.

Also, If you think they would sell, what would you pay for 1, a dozen, etc.

I figured pricing could be a dollar each or $10 for a dozen.

Here are some pics of them from my wedding.

2  Button Themed Wedding Crafts- COMPLETED in Weddings and Bridal Showers by RockinRobyn on: July 18, 2008 03:01:08 PM
After toiling away for over a month all of my crafts are done, my wedding is done, and all of my centerpieces have been given away to happy guests!

Here is what I made:

Button bouquets for each centerpiece

Button card box

I designed our wedding cake (but left the baking to a pro  Cheesy)

Cootie catchers for each table

We also had button lollipops for favors that got gobbled up and stuffed in pockets before I got pics.

Sorry that it's taken me so long to post these ladies!

"I wish I was able to love you as much as you love me"

"I feel guilty when I spend money, because I know I only have it because you're dead."

"My boyfriend think I don't like sex. Truth is, I just don't like it with him."
The back says: "Just because its big, it doesn't make you a good lover!"

"After reading too many fantasy books I would LOVE to travel in Medieval Times on a grand quest!"

"A part of me will never completely trust him again after that night. Another part of me knows it was my own fault. I'd been pushing and pushing him for weeks"

"I'm sick of hearing how skinny, pretty, and smart I am. I know! Go tell someone who needs to hear it..."

"This is what I hear in my head, all day" and the spinning wheel says "you're ugly, you have no talent, you're stupid, you're annoying, no one will love you, you're fat"

"I have conflicted feelings about zoos and end up hating it if I visit"

Paint them apple red!

Well, only if you like to paint, because after 2 coats of primer and at least 3 coats to get a good red on them. . . but they'd look fab in a high gloss red, don't you think?

im worried that would be too much, our walls are currently this color:

7  I hate our kitchen cabinets! in Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions by RockinRobyn on: October 21, 2006 04:59:17 PM
When we first moved in in May they were charming and fun, now they are just too much for me to handle. They are made of a certain type of material that my dad said paint won't take well to. They are the originals from when the place was built in 1984. HELP ME CRAFTSTERS!

These icky cabinets are also in the bathroom Sad any ideas there?

I am the owner, not a renter, so I can do whatever I want to them, Im just stuck for ideas Sad
