1  Re: Spare fabric help in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by ChristineRenee on: May 27, 2007 10:45:49 AM
Here's the necklace:

It's a little crazy because I think she had A LOT of fabric left. But it's a cute idea.

2  Re: This is my Clutch...i think i went wrong with felt. in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ChristineRenee on: February 01, 2007 07:27:18 PM
there was a zipper deficiency.

Smiley I love the buttons! I think sometimes when you don't have all the supplies you need you end up coming up with something even better.

You should definitely be proud. (And I don't think a puddle would hurt it too much.)

3  Re: recyled yarn KAL? in Knitalongs by ChristineRenee on: January 18, 2007 06:45:37 PM
I have been meaning to post these pictures:

This is the yarn I got from one cashmere sweater. (Minus the skein I dyed purple.) I dyed it with blue Kool-Aid.

You can see the balls that I wound before giving up on untangling this mess.

And here's the cuff I made with it:

It's about as simple as you can get, but I wanted something quick and easy. I love how soft it feels against my wrist.

I still have tons of this yarn left. So I'm going to do a few more cuffs and then maybe a few pairs of baby booties. And maybe I'll try to knit my first pair of socks...

Does anyone else have any ideas for projects?
