I still haven't tried it. I'm so unclear about how to do the panels.

8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Beaded Lamp Holder on: March 18, 2004 07:53:21 PM
Hi. First completed project post.
Beaded Lamp Holder
(there are more pix in the album)
This was a purchased oil lamp with a cool, but plain, thick wire 'holder'. Origionally, there were two glass leaves attached by thinner wire, which looked nice and inspired the idea, but the glass leaves weren't attached to their wires very well, and broke soon after purchase. Oh well, it looks good without the leaves.
I wrapped the size 6 mixed beads on the lamp holder with 28 gage green wire. It looks nice lit up, especially in the dark! Wink
9  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re:Making Fiends! on: March 09, 2004 06:32:04 PM
Oooo, or make a stuffed muffin, from her muffin film series. That would be cool!
10  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re:Wild Crayon Art.... on: February 28, 2004 08:54:06 PM
Very cool!
We've made multi-colored crayons by melting broken crayons together in the oven (in cupcake papers), but I've never melted them in a double boiler kind of thing. I have tons of crayon bits, I will have to try melting them.
Besides painting with the melted bits, I wonder what else we could do......
