2  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Scared To Start Business on: October 17, 2005 11:55:24 PM
Okay... I'm really wanting to start a business....just online for now selling some of the things I make.  I'm like scared to death though.  I'm wanting to sell some purses, jewelry, maybe some art work, clothing or lamps too.  I'm scared that I'll get rejected or something and no one will buy anything.  Can anyone who may have a similar business let me know how it was when you first started out?
Also.... I'm wondering how practical this is.... like do you actually make money?  Crafting is in my blood so if I don't do something with it I'm going to go crazy but I'm afraid to invest $ in making more things to sell and then not making anything.   Can anyone possibly give me an idea of how much you make just from your website sales alone in a month too?
Thanks so much guys & gals!!!! I really appreciate it!!!!!
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / My first post! Asian floral hobo on: September 22, 2005 12:10:39 PM
Okay... this is my very first post so I hope I did everything correctly.
I just made this bag last night using tinafish's tutorial. https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=35575.0 I did a few variations, but it's pretty much the same.  I think it turned out really great.  This is the first bag I've made that looks really proffesional!  I never knew how to do zippers correctly.  Hope you like it!

Here's an upclose pic of the pretty fabric.  Walmart- Yay!!!!
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / L.A.M.B.esque handbag on: September 22, 2005 12:04:24 PM
I received, for use as a diaper bag, this L.A.M.B. purse.  I always am loosing my things in it though amongst my son's toys and diapers.  So I decided to make a bag to go inside it.  This is what I came up with.
Let me know what you think!
