1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / from dreaded to RED! Love my new chairs! on: July 14, 2010 03:16:09 AM
I finally got around to recovering my dining chairs. They are covered in paint from my wonderful children and I am sure there are a few spots on there from me too Smiley My kitchen is in red and lady bugs. So they fit in nicely now!

2  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / My Easter table cloth. on: March 22, 2010 07:46:29 AM
I haven't quilted it yet, but it will hopefully get done before next Easter. I also made curtains that look just like the table cloth, I just have to finish the top on them. But I love the way it turned out. While doing this table cloth, I realized that my table is as big as a twin size bed! No wonder I can't find table cloths to fit my table!

I used mostly pastel colors, (mostly pink). And a couple of my favorite fabrics that I didn't have enough of to make anything else out of. this is a great stash buster!

C&C welcome!

not sure if you might want to add a little design in that space near where the datestamp is in the photo, see where it looks a little empty?  although the design is kind of natural-random (in a good way) so you might not want to try for too much uniformity.

I did notice that it had a "bare" spot, but it wasn't quite enough space to put another flower. I considered to keep going and completely fill the space so that it would look more like a tapestry, but I am limited on time, having to make several more gifts for Christmas. I make set this aside and start on it afterwards and do what I had planned.

Ok..I am hesitant to post this, I am a novice. And most of you have some mad skills! But i wanted to post it, for a first project it turned out OK...thanks for looking, and be gentle, but I would love some C & C!

I was thinking about putting it onto a pillow

10  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Old Church, I love photography on: December 06, 2009 06:40:59 PM
Thank you very much for the advice. I'm still learning and playing around with new gadgets. The software I am using, i am having to learn it as I go. I can tell that I cloned the area and I do see the repetition areas that don't look "normal"
