And one of my very favorite fabrics from my stash, too!

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Soldered Scooter Pendants with Charms on: April 08, 2010 12:15:08 PM
Thanks for posting!  I have done a few scoot specific glass slide pendants, too!  We came up with some very similar ideas, totally seperately.  Funny how life is sometimes!

If you really, really wanna sell them to people who have more money than sense - the www.ModernVespa.com crowd will go mad for them in the For Sale section.  Also post on www.scooterdiva.com

- Using medium to heavy weight iron on interfacing on just the outter fabric should give you enough support.

- Another great way to support the bottom of this purse is by using needlepoint plastic canvas.  It's sturdy and washable!

I love to see that so many people are still referring to this tutorial.  I am still using it myself!
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Back after 2 yr haitus with new bags! on: April 06, 2010 01:10:43 PM
I have that Lambretta girl fabric of your first bag.  I have had several hopeful projects in mind for it, not qiuite landed on the right one yet.  I'm a model specific snob, so some of those scooter models piss me off!  Silly snobby me.

Lovely bags!

5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Scooter/Vespa Swap??? on: June 18, 2009 12:00:28 PM
I'd be willing to organize...do you think we have enough interest though?  Probably if we make it a motorcycle/scooter swap we'd get more people.

Might be tough to get even numbers of both.
I know I don't want to motorcycle craft, so I'd want to be matched both directions with a scooterist.

I'm wide open and full of crafties - so I'll be patient and willing to do this swap when feasible!  Thanks for stepping up as organizer, sarahj!

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Santa Helmet Ho Ho Ho! - Rough pattern on Pg5 on: November 25, 2007 10:58:20 AM
Very very bitchen.  I am inspired to make a felt version of our upcoming Christmas lights ride with the scooter club!

Thanks - and well knit, by the way!

but... why?
The pictures are hosted by Craftster and still in my library or images.  Hmm.  I dunno why they are not working, but PM me your email addy and I'll send you the PDF of the tutorial.

Craftbits also hosts the tutorial for the ribbon version - it is nearly the same: http://www.craftbits.com/viewProject.do?projectID=1147

I'll see if I can figure out what is wrong with the images.

10  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Unique Name Swap Gallery- Round 2 on: August 28, 2007 01:13:54 PM
Hey girls - this swap is nearly DONE!  Whew!

We did have one swap flake and we have a wonderful swap ANGEL who stepped in.  Thank you to sanekook - she will be sending this week to susanab.
soda_dreamer is still cursing from the recent UK postal strikes that have caused everything to be upside-down, but hopefully RikaHeart will receive her package soon.

I have updated feedback and am off to Europe day after tomorrow - so I hope to check in from abroad (and maybe find soda_dreamers package personally!).

Best wishes to you all - my new uniquely named friends!
