Hmm, may just have to check out your fancy guitar while you're in El Paso. Any idea where you're playing yet?

Great job on the guitar!

I could look at hats all day if your little sweetie would model them!

Made me happy just looking at your pictures!

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re:On the Ellen DeGeneres Show on: February 25, 2004 02:21:22 PM
Hah, I saw that episode. I think the fabric was Chiffon. It kinda looked like a pink long apron. You'd probably have to buy the chiffon already emboidered.

I thought it was really pretty...regardless of what Ellen thought!
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re:Jellyfish Tray on: February 25, 2004 02:07:17 PM
So cute! I sometimes think "cute" is it's own particular art style. My husband does the serious portrait and sculpture thing but couldn't draw or sculpt a cute ___ (fill in the blank) to save his live.

Great job on the cute tray!
8  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re:a very particular tchotchke on: February 25, 2004 01:58:10 PM
I absolutely love the idea of wearable art! I had a minor breakdown trying to figure out which one I wanted so I just went with two of your Bronto pins. I'll be back to buy your art pins, though! Best of luck!

9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re:flower ice bowl on: February 25, 2004 01:43:22 PM
I've seen an idea similar to this one a few other place (of course I can't remember where Huh) but your bowl is by far the prettiest! The flowers and colors you used look great!

As far as how long it would last: if you made the bowl thick enough it would probably last at least an hour. Plenty of time to bring out the ice bowl during dessert. Might want to place it on a pretty platter to catch the dripping.

Great way to use extra fabric...thanks for the project! I love making cat crafts. Awh, the things we do for our cats!
