It really doesn't matter which way the cables go.  I just like how the looked in the pic on the Lion Brand pattern, all going in towards to center braid, and was a little surprised when mine wasn't coming out looking like that.  I'm still happy with my result, I don't think that all the cables going to same way ruins it.

flaky, I also imagined it with full-length sleeves, but apparantly I have extremely long arms .... I followed the length the pattern said, and they looked long enough, but stretched much shorter as soon as I tried it on.  I actually kind of like 3/4 length better. ... I always end up rolling my sweater sleeves anyway.

So I finished my Tunic last week and I finally got my friends to take some photos.  My camera's not the best, so I'm apologizing in advance for the poor picture quality.  I'm hoping to take some more with my dad's camera next week.

This was such a fun knit!  I based mine off of the Lion Brand version.  I used Wool-Ease in Violet (I think) on size 7 and 8 needles and knitted the smallest size.  I didn't end up making any changes, although I do wish my cables on the front and back were going opposite ways... I didn't realize their mistake in the pattern until I had almost the whole front done and was too lazy to frog it and start over.

Autumn leaf....

Don't know how well 100% acrylic would work, but I'm using Lion Brand Wool Ease (20% wool and 80% acrylic) and it's super soft and comfy... it seems to be just fine!

mmdm, I'm doing the Lion Brand version.

tinybits, in the pattern, it actually says to knit the garter stitch collar back and forth.... probably would have been much easier to knit in the round.  I didn't even think of it at the time, but that's Lion Brand for you...

I have 17 repeats for my yoke.  I'm making the small.  My bust measures 36 inches.... I tried on my sweater last night, and so far it's fitting perfect.  It bells out at the bottom, so it doesn't hug the hips too snug.  I'd go with the small...

Ok, so here's my progress so far!  I finished the back and the front, and just picked up stitches to start the first sleeve.  When I get knitting it goes pretty fast, but I have to keep putting it down and making time for homework instead... *sigh*   Hopefully I'll finish this within the next 2 weeks!
