I want a dragon mobile for me!!  I am trying to learn to crochet and I can't make it past the second row... yet

Here are a few things off the list:

A neckwarmer for the -43 days we have been having Sad

Recycled crayons (kids stuff?!) for my students

the picture is kind of blurry.  My assistants were trying to help.

My new laptop/bookbag made of curtains (cira 1960)

A purse for myself!  The lining is an old sheet.  A little old lady had it as a tablecloth at her craft booth.  I had to buy a quilt off of her to get the sheet but I think it was worth it.

The light doesn't do it justice...

and my assistants, who keep my feet warm while I sew (they are 80 lbs and both sleep under my desk Smiley)

I must say I haven't done this much crafting in FOREVER!!  Everyone is so inspirational, I <3 it!!

So everyone in my house is sick but me. This leaves a lot of alone time (the boy and the Mister like to sleep off their illnesses), alone time means CRAFT TIME!!
I got three things done and here are two of them...
The first is a wallet, I love this fabric and only got a fat quater of it (I am still not sure why they sell fat quarters... I haven't heard of them in Canada).  I was saving it for something special... ME.

I am proud of the snap.  It took forever to beat in!

There is also a zippered pocket in it as well.  I got the tutorial from the Confessions of a Fabricaholic Blog.  It is a great tutorial!!

Last week the Mister had to go away for 5 days so I took the opportunity to clean up his office... it took almost all of the 5 days!!  We are both into dragons so I did this picture for him.  I couldn't paint the walls so I needed something to cover them up!  He liked it Smiley

The last thing I did was my neck/face warmer which I will hopefully post tomorrow.  I am on holidays for a week so we will see how much more I can get done off my list Smiley

Okay... here is the Bulletin Board/White board I recovered with fabric.  Still not on the wall.  I also did the Zombie survival case which has ben deemed the "most epic birthday present ever"  I have also been awarded the coolest stepmom ever award(by a 16 year old) Smiley

Here is a 52 reasons book for my Mister.  I did that instead of the apron that is on my list for him... I might still do the apron but not until later.

The man loves bacon!!

The wolf one is about him taking my laptop into the bathroom with him all the time Smiley

I love the hot ass one, it is so appropriate.

I love the Abby Bunny!!! Are you going to do a Gibbs one?

I finally got my pictures to download.  So here are 2 off my list.  I made the Luigi cake from scratch and instead of a superhero cape for my
nephew I made him a Luigi costume.  Unfortunately I don't have an action shot.  Every time I took a pic of him he was looking at his refection in the windows!

Here is a painting I did for him as well.

Everything looks great Crafty people!
Here is the clutch purse I made for my cousin.  It has a gathered front, a divider inside along with two card holders.

I also made a birthday cake from scratch (it took three frickin tries, stupid mistakes). I wasn't a fan of the cake, it was heavy and not very moist. I have to look for a better recipe.  But the decorating was great.  I will post a picture soon!

7  Drill Bit Box = Cute in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by aliasgracie on: February 20, 2010 08:30:04 PM
My Mister, bought some drill bits from the part store.  I quickly claimed the box!
It was raw wood, I found some cute scrapbooking paper and podged it on.  I use it for some of my jewelry. I can't wait until he has to buy more Smiley
