13  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / In desperate need of some Christmas music. on: October 27, 2005 05:39:47 PM
If you're like me, as soon as the weather starts getting cool you're cranking up the Christmas tunes.

Unfortunately I'm running out of hip remakes.

Relient K- Anything from Deck the Halls, Bruise your Hand
Rilo Kiley- Xmas Cake
Fall Out Boy- Yule Shoot Your Eye Out
Something Corporate- Forget December
Phantom Planet- Winter Wonderland
The Matches- December is for Cynics
NFG- Ex Mas
Blink 182- I Wont be Home for Christmas
Weezer- Christmas song
Eisley- Winter Song
Simple Plan- My Christmas List

Add to the list please! I'm in desperate need of sing alongs [you can only sing deck the halls so many times  Wink]

14  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Punk Mole for National Mole Day on: October 21, 2005 04:49:46 PM
Every year we all get excited about Mole Day. Props to you, for your mole is the coolest I've seen.
15  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Making your own halloween costume-along.. on: October 21, 2005 04:46:26 PM
my brother came to pick up his Link costume yesterday.  dork:

1. That costume is awesome.
2. Your brother is not a dork for liking Zelda/Link, and if he is, then so am I ::blushes::
3. I've gotta agree with the others, he's attractive, even with a costume on.
16  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Royal blue hobo bag with oriental details and lining on: October 13, 2005 01:30:21 PM

17  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Zen Cozy (MP3) on: October 07, 2005 07:43:27 PM
FINALLY someone has a zen besides me ipods are definettly so overrated. i got a red one for my b day back in feb and have been trying to figure out how to make a case for it. props for zens!!!l Shocked

Preach it girl! I'm so sick of seeing all these cute add ons/cases/speakers and whatnots for the iPod. What about the rest of us who didn't pay 400$ and got an amazing player?
I've also been trying to think of how to make a case in which I can still get to the touchpad and see the screen, but no such luck yet. Then again, I have been able to use the touch pad while it was in my jean pocket.
18  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Watercolor: Tim Burton. on: October 04, 2005 06:33:11 PM
justxlove: I suck at watercolors too, or I did. The more you work with them the better you get. I believe this is my 3rd watercolor project. I love your icon by the way, bradley hathaway is a tool.

decibel: I understand your hatred for pastels. Pastels for me is like rubbing your fingers on sandpaper.

littleone1098: Really it was just black watercolor on white paper. The only advice I can give is to put your color on in layers. Just put a little color on at a time, blotting it off with a paper towel until you figure how dark you want it. Once you get the right combination just let it dry? I don't know, I'm not really an expert.   Roll Eyes
19  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: GREEN MAY NOT LOOK TOO BAD ON US - two portraits on: October 04, 2005 02:58:53 PM
Wow, the shading on the second one is amazing. The folds in the fabric and the neck muscles ::mouth hangs open::
20  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Watercolor: Tim Burton. on: October 04, 2005 02:52:45 PM
I started this painting Friday, I think, and worked on it for 4 periods.
Since I got put into Drawing and Painting 1 again [I'm a Portfolio II student, which I believe is the highest or 2nd highest art we have] I get to work on whatever project I want to.

My mom says I've been making immense improvement in my watercolor technique. Even my teacher was impressed. Anyway, I'm going into graphic design in college so this will be part of my portfolio.
