ChemicalsMyDear, I think I have told you before but I FLIPPING LOVE Bradley Hathaway! I have this friend that is so much like him... he too is a manly man... lol anyway I also LOVE He is Legend! That shirt is amazing (the He is Legend shirt, well no they both are but oh my goodness the He is Legend shirt BLOWS MY MIND!) Great work!

Apparently, it blows other people's minds as well. Some kids tried to buy it off my back, and I was standing there going "It's not gonna fit you buddy." I'm going to see He Is Legend in May and hopefully I'll get them to sign the sleeve.  Grin

That's really well done, and looks like tshirt fabric. I'm jealous that you have a serger, they work wonders.
Oh and I totally understand having to listen to annoying girls talk about how they don't have any morals.
I recall spending a whole Sociology class trying to take notes while hearing some chick talk about getting trashed at prom...who really cares anyway?

Wait wait, are those drawings or paintings?
Either way they are still marvelous... I'm just a curious girl.

It has been lightyears since I have posted anything mostly because I looked at my wardrobe and discovered that 98% of it is tshirts. So naturally, I stopped silkscreening shirts for a while but I'm back with 2 shirts.

This one was a quick "I told you I was going to make this" shirt.
Bradley Hathaway is an amazing Christian poet, I high recommend checking him out Wink shamelessly promoting

And this is my pride and joy-ha! No no, for my graphic arts class we had to have a "presentation of your work" project. If you think the shirt is good you should see the posterboard that displays it.

It's He is Legend's I am Hollywood, but I changed the name Heather to Lara for a personal touch. It was 2 weeks of work, but would have been 1 if I hadn't been so preoccupied with college work.

I completely messed up Jane's nose.  Embarrassed
The movie was great, and if you have not seen it, well, I strongly encourage you to!

So my mom told me I had too many jackets and refused to buy me fabric. Well, I went to walmart and found houndstooth for 2 bucks a yard, and then picked up a rainbow heart lining and buttons. Around 10 hours later...

Yeah by the way I didn't realize the collar was popping up like that so just IGNORE  Grin

I'm really proud because I did this all by myself this time, no help from ANYONE, and if my mother's pinking sheers weren't dull then it probably would have taken half the time to make [cutting numerous triangles in seam allowances is enough to drive anyone insane].

Oooo I love that fabric! I also love how you added the sparkly brooch for additional glamour. Smiley

My mom made the same dress for me for my homecoming dance last year:

And just yesterday I finished the pencil skirt version of it, which took me 5 days, but I didn't really have to adjust the bodice too much, just the length. Dang it was long.
