1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / know of a easy/quick scarf for a guy? on: November 21, 2006 11:36:10 AM
I thought I'd get some suggestions from the professionals out there!  Does anyone have a suggestion for an easy scarf for a guy?  Ofcourse one of the skull illusions, or something along those lines would be great, but I've literally just begun knitting.

He's quite 'manly' and i know i dont want any of the fuzzy/fringy types of yarn that are out there.  Should i stick with a worsted weight, or go up to wool or something thats thicker with a larger gauged needle?

I dont want the weave to be too 'open' but I also dont want it to be july and still not finished.   Grin  thanks for any suggestions ~ beth
