The clitoral hood was the hardest thing to do, as well as the labia.  I never realized how complicated anatomical drawings are!  Also, multiple lines are confusing.

Edit:  A custom order for a friend.  Who wanted something less medical...but oh well, she'd draw me something to carve.....  Weeee....it's kind of fun to be carving things like this.

33  Earthbound/Giygas Stamp in Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects by astrangeone on: January 10, 2011 01:27:45 PM

The scary end boss from Earthbound (SNES).  I swear I heard the music as I was carving it.

34  More Harry Potter House Crest stuff.... in Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects by astrangeone on: December 20, 2010 07:37:56 PM

Made with "for big mistakes" erasers!

It took forever.  It was supposed to be for the opening of Deathly Hallows.  Cheesy

Sent out!  It's 24 minus out there.  I swear I was going to freeze my buns off.

It's the $9.21 charge there.  :

36  Name Stamp (Harry Potter font) and Fairy Stamp! in Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects by astrangeone on: November 30, 2010 04:11:29 PM
Used a "for big mistakes" eraser.  Ground down the other side with fine grit sandpaper and carved it up.

What do you think?

Electrical plug made out of bristol board and cardboard.  Painted with acrylic paint and sealed with white glue.

38  Re: WIP Wednesday 9/1 - Show off your in-progress knitting here! in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by astrangeone on: September 01, 2010 05:33:06 PM
Kittymom13 - yeah, I tend to buy random chunks of acrylic in dollar stores.  But, I have an excuse - it's practice with working with terrible yarns!  (I also bought this incredibly annoying chunky acrylic which will probably take several months for me to deal with.  Chenille is pretty brutal, although!

striker923 - horray!  You remembered to deal with the topic!  Don't worry, you are busy making a new baby - that's enough to think about!  Cheesy

Here are my WIPs.

Franken blanket.  Originally started as scrap blanket and to use up a terribly plied acrylic and wool blend.  (That's the twine/string looking squares.)  It's about 10/36 done.

Life draining vest.  It's heavy, the acrylic is terribly ugly, and I think I'm going to have to start throwing things if someone mentions this vest.  I'm trying to finish most of the back, so that my teacher doesn't yell at me.  (Was sidetracked by lovely real wool, and now have a wool set I'm proud to wear!)

I might go out and purchase another pound of chunky acrylic to whip it up into scarves for charity.  Dunno, if I will, but considering I have school and other stuff to worry about, there's an option to relax and also do some good in the world.

39  Needed: Instant gratification knitting project... in Knitting: Completed Projects by astrangeone on: August 30, 2010 06:21:51 PM

Took me about four hours.  Cheap polyester dollar store yarn.  It's Scarfy Come Home from Ravelry - knitted on a size 11 needle, with one skein of yarn.  The yarn has a metallic thread from it.

It's going to be my pretty accessory scarf when it's way too cold!

40  Knitty Bookplate Stamp in Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects by astrangeone on: August 26, 2010 09:30:10 PM

For my knitting mentor - for putting up with my zero to nothing knitting style, and for tinking (undoing) half of my work!

It's pretty small...I should have switched to the knife addition when doing the "e's".  It's not that neat, but I hope it gets used a lot!  Cheesy
