i know im bumping this thread but i just honestly have to say that is the coolest looking plushie evar! and it really looks like him down to the eyebrows and that evil look of his. i'd pay you a thousand dollars to make me one.... cuz i suck at sewing... and dont have that kind of patience to glue that much hair. but... im broke.... so we both miss out.
2  COOKING / Dessert / kiss fan cake on: July 16, 2008 01:18:22 AM
this is my first post on craftster after having lurked so long. so my bro is 13 now goin on 14 and for his last birthday i picked him up from school and everything, pretending completely to forget his birthday and making him angry. little did he know that i am the awesomest sister ever, even though i did forget for the majority of the day that it was his birthday until i got home before i picked him up from school. so anyway, he came home all angry and whatnot only to find a gene simmons cake waiting there for him. the kids favorite band is kiss so i decided to make him a kiss themed cake. it took forever to cut out the stencil for the face. so here it is:

3  CLOTHING / Clothing Sewalongs / Re: Promalong - Making your own Prom dress? Join the club! on: March 12, 2006 02:06:06 PM
my mom is going to make my prom dress (she is an amazing seamstress..... though i may help a bit so i can do it on my own next year)

i am using simplicity #5238 style C... the fabric is black, and the overlay is going to be white laceish.... i am also too voluptuous for strapless, so we're changing that to have straps....

it's my boyfriend's sr year, and only my jr, so my dress is matching his tux.... its all white w/black "trim" .... kinda hard to explain but it's really cool looking Smiley

i just noticed that thats my homecoming dress
you cant really see all of it but i was all decked out. wore gloves and a nice braclet.  im looking for a prom dress right now so ill keep lookin around here nice dresses everyone.

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Bad attempt at a capri-sun bag. on: October 07, 2005 08:05:52 PM
my purse is different and sturdy if i do say so myself. well my purse has the handles made out of 4 baggies folded in thirds then all sewn together w/ clear string. its weird seeing ur purse w/ tape. guess i got used to mine w/ the seams. nice tho. ooh might i suggest making it more fun looking by using kool aid jammers instead of capri sun because they use more color. just an idea.
