2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: Procrastination Station: Get Motivated! Never too late to join! on: November 28, 2006 05:46:39 PM
So.... I guess I'll join, since I am (like everyone  Tongue) an amazing procrastinator.

My List:
~Fetching for Mom b-day (was the 19, but hasn't opened all of her presents yet, so it's all right.)
~Monkey for baby cousin (X-MAS!)
~Line Fat-Bottom bag (for me)
~Make Washcloth(Mom)
~Find yarn for flip-top-fingerless-gloves things (X-mas for a friend)
~Make pj pants
~Finish fairy-ish skirt
~And many more, updates coming :-D

And I'm wasting my time making this list instead of crafting....haha

Loving the shoes! Especially with those awesome socks.
4  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: delicate plastic rings - can you dig us?? (pic heavy, first jewelry post!!!) on: September 13, 2006 05:24:17 PM
I really like them. I would buy one, definitely, depending on the cost. I'm not gonna give you the whole "the cost depends on the time and materials" thing, but about how long does it take you to make one?
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: I am a freesoul. tshirt recon. on: September 12, 2006 02:06:49 PM
Yes very talented. lol I could be maybe half as good if I actually got my butt in gear.....where did you get the grommet tape?
6  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Eyes are the Window to the Soul. Good stencil idea? on: September 09, 2006 03:45:34 PM
I was thinking of making some kind of stencil where like, eyes and a window and something to represent soul (I don't know what, maybe a heart? or....I dunno) are lined up. Would people actually understand it, good idea or I am just being dumb?

7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: messenger bag with gusset tutorial on: August 17, 2006 04:33:34 PM
Thanks so much for this tute, btw. But before I start, I have a couple questions..... Roll Eyes if they can be answered by anyone.

Okay, so when you sew the straps, you're sewing in a lining, and then folding it in half so that it's not visible? please correct me if I'm wrong, but that seems a little strange. Would it work better to have two strips of fabric, sew down the edges (so theere are not raw edges) then sew them together on top or next to the seams you just made? I'm just trying to figure out the strongest way, cuz I'm trying to make a schoolbag, and I have visions of it collapsing in the middle of the walk home....

Also, when you sew the straps on, you're sewing them onto the outside, so they're like.... folding over on themselves as they go up. Okay that sounded completely incoherent even to me. Could you sew them onto the inside instead?

It's so awesome seeing all the bags people have made....v. beautiful.

So, I'm a little late about this. Oh well.

I made two pencil pouches from this tutorial https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=63644.0.
The first one:

This one didn't turn out so well. As you see, I made it a little to tall. Not quite a pencil pouch.

The second one:

Definitely proud of this one. :-)
Bad pics because I was racing against dead batteries.

Your embroidery is amazing. It looks like something I would covet, but not be able to buy :-).
