1  CANADA / Ontario / Niagara Region-Surrounding Areas on: January 17, 2006 06:00:07 PM
Was wondering if there are any craftsters that are local to the Niagara penninsula, and the surrounding areas, hoping to find out if there are any decent groups I am missing out on, as well as finding fellow crafty friends in the area is always great
2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / Canadians Shipping to US and Overseas? on: January 17, 2006 04:41:19 PM
Okay, I am soon hoping to take part in the craft swap process, however I have yet to participate, and haver very little clue what to expect, which services are best to stick with.

I am looking for peoples experiences, (good and bad) suggestions, and estimations for the cost to ship.

What is the most expensive package you have sent, what is the cheapest?
3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Self Portriat: Acyrlics on: January 15, 2006 06:15:38 PM
Okay, so I am not very practiced when it comes to working with paints (I normally sew) however, one of the assignments for art was a to take a photo (manipulated in adobe) and then do an acyrlic self portrait. I admit there is plenty of room for improvement, however, I am still content with the results of the painting. (First time for a project so large) Anyhow, any friendly critiques are appreciated...

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Green Stretch Shrug Top (Off Shoulder) on: August 14, 2005 12:34:48 PM

Still have to do the hemming, I seem to have misplaced all my measuring devices. A simple shirt, but I am not a fan of making shirts for the most part (more a pant/skirt person)
5  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / DDR Token Pouch and Card on: August 14, 2005 10:52:38 AM
Okay, so I have not done very much crafting lately, but starting to do some more (of course as the summer is now coming to an end I get my act together)

Today marks 9 months for me and my girlfriend, okay, not one year, however I am still quite happy, and I wanted to make a little suprise for her. It is not the best. The card is not overly romantic as I made her a romantic card for the hell of it a week ago, and thought keeping a theme for her gift would be fun.

She is a huge DDR fan, so I figured I would go along the lines of, well DDR, so here is what I made

For the card stock I used an old card from a stationary set.
Not overly exciting, and very simple, but thought I would share some DDR greatness.
Another side note- I Hate Fabric Paint.
And yes, there are tokens in the pouch...
6  CANADA / Ontario / Niagara Region Crafters on: August 13, 2005 11:54:01 PM
I was hoping to find some crafters within the Niagara Region, what stores do you recomend, are you currently active with any groups, what would you like to see within the Region?
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Bathing Suit Liners on: August 13, 2005 08:47:45 PM
I was wondering if anyone had a recomendation for a fabric that would work well as a bathingsuit liner, but is not the traditional liner. (Something that one may have around the sewing room already) I am currently broke, but hoping to make a new bathing suit.
