11  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / HELP! Mens Hoodie Pattern???? on: January 18, 2007 04:38:05 PM
Hi Everyone.

I recently bought Naughty Needles (by: Nikol Lohr) and I saw the straight jacket pattern in the book. Its for a girl.

I need to find a mens hoodie pattern that uses regular yarn (by regular I mean 4oz. non chunky yarn, I plan to use Carol Simply Soft in black)

but I CANT FIND ONE ANYWHERE.

Does anyone know of any good mens hooded sweater patterns?

13  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / 1x1 Rib Stitch. HELP!! on: November 07, 2006 08:46:08 AM
Hi everyone. I've been crocheting for a long long time and I onlyr eally know how to do a stockingette stitch with knitting. But I found a beanie pattern I would love to try my hand at, for my friends baby and it calls for a rib stitch.

I can get the first row done, k1p1 to end. But I can't figure out which hole to put my needle in and where or how or waht to do when it comes to do the rest of the rows.

Here are some pic examples.

This is about all I can do, k1p1 to end.

and this is where I get stuck.

Sorry bout the brightness.

Help~!
14  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Baby Blanket. on: April 29, 2006 07:06:39 AM
My boyfriends good friend is having a baby. Even tho I have never met her in person, or spoken to her. I decided to use this as craft adventure. I've never sewn a blanket before. The satin binding was kind of difficult but it turned out pretty good.

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a287/rm3/IMG_0745.jpg

It is made up of:

1 package of satin baby blanket binding.
about 2 yards of micro fleece in baby pink and baby blue.

I don't know if the baby is a girl or a boy so I made the blanket a unisex one. So if its one or the other she can always reuse it for another one.

I hope she likes it.

15  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / My version of the fendi bag. on: March 22, 2006 11:35:12 AM
Welllllllllll everyone has been trying to make that lovely fendi crochet chef bag.

I couldnt find a pattern so I winged it.

I just did a big rectangle and folded it so that it was the sizeI wanted but still had a flap.
Instead of crocheting the ruffle I used ruffled lace.

i added a little yarn bow to the front also.

17  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / 666 Photo ALbum *recon* on: January 12, 2006 09:05:14 PM
So I went to JoAnn's looking for sewing machine needles and came out with a 99c photo album and some iron on numbers.

I gutted the photo album and used the cover as a template. I cut some cardboard and added some felt (sewn around the edges) then I sewed the photo sleaves from the 99c photo album to the inside of the home*made album.

and this is the end result.

(more pix to come soon as I get my pix resized.)
