man these little turtles are way too cute and way too easy and quick to make.

I made this little bugger in about 2 hours (on the bus on the way to work...and on breaks)

He's so cute!

I ordered safety eyes but they aer smaller than i thought they would be hahahaha

It has been a LONG time since I've picked up the old hook n yarn!

I have been knitting mostly lately but I just can't get over how cute amigurumi is!

SO i spent my day yesterday making this little octopus, they are so simple to make!

I didnt have any stuffed animal stuffing so I just used some foam from foam pillow to stuff him.

please let me know what you think.

5  1x1 Rib Stitch. HELP!! in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by razorblademeg on: November 07, 2006 08:46:08 AM
Hi everyone. I've been crocheting for a long long time and I onlyr eally know how to do a stockingette stitch with knitting. But I found a beanie pattern I would love to try my hand at, for my friends baby and it calls for a rib stitch.

I can get the first row done, k1p1 to end. But I can't figure out which hole to put my needle in and where or how or waht to do when it comes to do the rest of the rows.

Here are some pic examples.

This is about all I can do, k1p1 to end.

and this is where I get stuck.

Sorry bout the brightness.

6  666 Photo ALbum *recon* in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by razorblademeg on: January 12, 2006 09:05:14 PM
So I went to JoAnn's looking for sewing machine needles and came out with a 99c photo album and some iron on numbers.

I gutted the photo album and used the cover as a template. I cut some cardboard and added some felt (sewn around the edges) then I sewed the photo sleaves from the 99c photo album to the inside of the home*made album.

and this is the end result.

(more pix to come soon as I get my pix resized.)

9  My Cramp Bag! in Completed Projects by razorblademeg on: May 06, 2005 01:45:44 AM

Once upon a time there was a girl. A cute girl, who was OBSESSED with the colors pink and black LONG LONG before they became trendy. Well this lovely lass happened to be very *special* and not in a short bus kind of way either. She was special in a once a month she gets extreme cramps to the point where her doctor started prescribing her hard hard hardkore pain killers. But the girl realized she only really gets cramps the first day of the red dawn. Soo rather than easily becoming addicted to the "happy pills" she decided to make a magical treat for herself that she properly called a "CRAMP BE GONE BAG"...

ok i made it out of an old hot pink bed sheet I had. because I dont flat sheets cause they just end up at the end of my bed anyway. So I cut that up and made pillow cases to match my bedspread and I decided to make a cute little heat pack. that was hot pink and black to match my bed. Anyway...it is filled with rice and has a zipper on the end so that when the rice smell gets funky from heating it up too many times I can just fill it with whatever I like. I may even buy a small bag of cilica gel crystals to see if that would work, does anyone have any idea if that stuff would melt in the microwave or not??

The Heat pack...and my cat which u cant tell he's a cat really cause my camera shows how black he really is. and he's sleeping so his eyes are closed.
