14  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Organization for Circulars? on: September 06, 2006 10:22:56 PM
I made myself this hanging organizer for my circs:

I saw something like it somewhere on line and since I am cheap crafty I made one for myself out of some scrap fabrics.

Can you tell us, have you sewn the fabric so it looks like a B with loops. Does that make sense? Creating little flaps I mean (I think)  Roll Eyes  Undecided

I bought a sheet set months ago and they came in this zip up bag, I use that. I've since been able to pick up more from friends.

I'd suggest going through the Competed Projects area and have a look at the photos of what other member have made, most of their posts are really inspiring.
19  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: WHat am I doing wrong? (learning to knit) Please Help!!! on: September 04, 2006 11:20:00 PM
You knit into all the loops on your needle.

The best site I found for answering problems (besides here at Craftsters of course)is http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/basic_techniques/knit.php

It shows you via videos how to do things.

After doing a little research into machine knitting (thinking about getting myself a machine) I came across this.
Knitters MUST check it out!
