1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: 2 yrs worth of nintendo/musican/tv cartoon cross stitch on: May 07, 2008 08:25:12 AM
I love them all!  Especially the little Futurama one, I love that show Cheesy.

I had to laugh at the kids reaction to your TMNT present though.  Ah, kids!
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Flat pack tv unit to corner suite on: December 11, 2007 01:25:37 PM
You are SUPER AWESOME!  I am amazed at the transformation.  I never would've guessed that the new piece was made out of the old one.  The fact that you spent almost 0 money and just used basic tools is amazing as well.  Now I'll be eyeing my furniture and seeing the possibilities!
3  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: Chihuahua pillow on: November 09, 2007 08:17:25 AM
I love it!  It's cute how it's 99% chihuahua with a single dachshund thrown in.  Your stitching is so neat and I'm jealous Tongue.
4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Lotteria inspired deeply romantic scarf on: October 23, 2007 09:19:28 AM
I love the scarf Shocked.  It's hard (for me, anyway) to put a scarf and embroidery together in a "manly" fashion but you succeeded!  The arrow looks surprisingly real and the detail on the heart is fabulous.  Great job, he'll love it.
5  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Fleece Blankets (image heavy) on: October 23, 2007 09:11:25 AM
I can't believe more people haven't commented!  The elephant is absolutely adorable and done really well.  It almost looks like you drew it.  The multiple layers on the frog give it such a cool effect and it really pops.  Last but not least, the blanket is pretty Smiley.

Keep posting more of your work!
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: art is lame shirt on: August 23, 2007 02:12:10 PM
That's awesome!  I would totally sport a shirt like that, despite also being an art geek. I might have to try that myself, if I can find a fabric as beautiful as the one you used.
7  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Completed Projects / Re: Natural Dyeing Day on: August 22, 2007 10:41:35 AM
Those colors are beautiful!  I want to try dyeing but it seems so daunting Undecided.
8  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: First Strawberry. on: August 20, 2007 08:05:47 AM
I love the strawberry.  It's so cute!  I hope you become an avid cross-stitcher because there's not enough of us Grin.
9  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: embroidered hubby on: August 20, 2007 07:59:49 AM
I love blind contour drawings!  They just turn out so crazy and fun.  You should definitely frame the embroidery so that you and your husband can admire it every day Smiley.
10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: The Ever Popular Elephant Canvas Fabric on: August 16, 2007 09:55:19 AM
That is too precious!!  I love the combination of pink and grey, birds and elephants Smiley.  The buttons add a cute touch as well.  I would buy that bag in a heartbeat if I saw it in a store.
