i've also been looking for a tutorial on a pocket on the outside of a bag, but neither zippered or jean pockets... i want something more like a pouch almost that would go on the side of the bag... does that make sense?  i'll have to look for a picture to describe it better

8  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / tips for naming your business? on: January 06, 2006 09:11:07 AM
i know there's sooo many threads about suggestions for names, but i was wondering about tips on how to go about thinking of one... does this make any sense?  i'm at a complete loss for how to go about coming up with a name...  i guess what i'm asking is how all you people thought of your name...   i'm so sorry if i don't make any sense  Sad
9  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / Re: when do you ply? on: January 06, 2006 08:50:49 AM
you can however set the twist first if you want to make loops in the yarn (the loops then wont twist back on themselves), or to create an interesting effect by plying it with several other energized yarns.

what do you mean by "loops" and "energized yarns"?  sorry, but i'm new to spinning and this sounds interesting
